Public policy paper on “The role of civil society organizations in achieving the first goal - eradicating poverty”
which addressed the current situation of the phenomenon of poverty in Egypt, the state’s strategy, and the role of civil society organizations in confronting it and achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030.
This paper came as a result of the recommendations of the third round table organized by the Arab Center for the Sustainability of Civil Action within the series of round tables launched bybased on the announcement of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi “2022 is the Year of Civil Society”, which aimed to facilitate societal dialogue between various parties concerned with sustainable development on enhancing the role of civil society organizations in implementing the international agenda for sustainable development 2030.
This paper is the third in a series of public policy papers issued by the center on "The Role of Civil Society Organizations in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals", which was prepared based on the outcomes of the round table held in cooperation with The Ministry of Social Solidarity and a number of local and international partners.
